We offer treatment for
Blood Cancers
It is the most common cancer among children and includes acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). And acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML). If managed properly they have the survival rate of more than 80%.
Beta Thalassemia
It is the most common blood disorder in Pakistan. Treatment options include regular blood transfusions, medicinal therapy and bone marrow transplant (BMT).
Lymphoma
It is the cancer of lymphoid tissue. It includes Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HD) and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) with the overall prognosis of 90% when timely diagnosed and treated.
Bleeding Disorders
They are either due to platelet deficiency or clotting factor deficiency like idiopathic thrombocytic purpura (ITP) and hemophilia respectively. They respond to medicinal therapy if given in time.
Solid Tumors
These are the cancers of solid organs like liver, kidney, eyes and glands. And prognosis depends on the staging of the disease.
Aplastic Anemia
It is the bone marrow failure syndrome, with overall survival of 80% after bone marrow transplant.

Bone Marrow Transplant
It is highly specialized treatment for multiple blood disorders, cancers and immune deficiency diseases. It is actually a hematopoietic stem cell plantation in which stem cells derived from donor’s peripheral blood or bone marrow are infused to patient in the form of transfusion.There are three types of bone marrow transplant:
- Autologous: Patients own stem cells are taken, it is usually done in the diseases like relapse Hodgkin’s disease or other in which bone marrow is not diseased.
- Allogenic: Stem cells come from the donor who could be related, non-related but fully matched genetically.
- Synergic from identical twin
Chemotherapy
It is given as both in patient and outpatient department through central or peripheral line. Hospital stay during chemotherapy depends upon the severity of the disease and clinical condition of the patient.Cancers that are commonly treated via chemotherapy in our setup are
- Hodgkin’s disease
- Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia
- Acute myelyd leukemia
- Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma
- Solid tumors like wilm’s tumor
- Retino blastoma
- Germ cell tumor
- Neuro blastoma
These are mostly treated on out patient basis until there is any comp0lication or side effect of the chemotherapy.Our staff for chemotherapy is specially trained to handle the central line and ensure chemo preparation and administration under aseptic and hygienic measures according to international standards.
Blood Transfusion
- Hematological disorders like different kinds of anemia and bleeding disorders/thalassemia mostly require multiple blood transfusions. So the blood bank facility is very crucial in our kind of setup.
- We have the blood bank at our disposal based on international standards, through which we provide different blood products FFPs, PCVs, Platelets, Cryoprecipitate whenever needed.
Medicinal Treatment
- Antithymocyte Globilin therapy for auto immune diseases.
- Iron Chelation therapy for beta thalassemia.
